It’s Black Tie Optional! Tuxedos welcome but not necessary. Get on your fancy boots if you got ‘em. Go ahead and show off.
We also want you to be comfortable. While the weather in late September in Savannah can often be quite nice (75 and sunny, fingers crossed), there is a chance it could be hot (85-90) and humid as well. The ceremony will be brief, but it will be outdoors in the early evening, so you may want to prepare for that.

While we love your little ones, we unfortunately are working with limited space and are not able to accommodate our guests’ children at this time.
That said!
We know lots of our guests are bringing their children to Savannah for the weekend. Reach out if you’d like to be put in touch with other parents!
We’ve also set up a WhatsApp group for folks bringing young kids to the weekend. It’s an easy way to coordinate park outings, early dinners, or trips to breweries where the kids can run around and play (no pressure, just community).

No—definitely not necessary! If you would like to see specific things outside of Historic Downtown Savannah, then it would make sense to rent a car. However Downtown Savannah is extremely walkable and the rideshare market is pretty good.
You could even nab a horse and buggy or carriage ride, or cross the river via the ferry.
